Attack Volleyball Club

Dale has been involved in the sport of volleyball for the past 15 years. While not coaching, Dale stays active by playing in as many tournaments as possible, both indoor and outdoor. His passion for teaching the game of volleyball is driven by his desire to learn as much as possible, and pass that knowledge on to his players, and coaches that are on his staff at Lansing Catholic High School. That desire to learn, grow, and become part of a Family environment, is what led him to Attack Volleyball Club.

Dale is currently the Varsity Coach at Lansing Catholic High School, where in his 1st season, led the Cougars to a 10-0 CAAC White Conference Championship and a 28-16-5 overall record. Prior to going to Lansing Catholic, coach Wethy had a 3 year stint at Lansing Christian, where in 3 seasons, won 3 District Titles, and 2 Regional Finals.

Last year was a banner year for Dale and his 18U National Black Team, as they finished #3 in the country at the USAV National Championships in Chicago, IL. In 2016, his 17U National Green Team won its Division at the 43rd Annual AAU National Championships in Orlando , FL., and in 2015 as an Assistant Coach, he helped guide the 16U National Black Team to a 9th place finish at the USAV National Championships in Chicago, IL.

Dale has decided to coach our Little Attacker’s Program at the 10U level, where he will have the ability to teach the fundamentals of the game to our youngest athletes. Dale’s ability to connect with his players, and his unwavering commitment to the Mission of Attack Volleyball Club, makes him an invaluable member of our Family. We feel very blessed to have Dale in our Family, and we look forward to many more years with him making a positive difference for Attack.

Dale was a member of the Army National Guard, as a medic, serving his country proudly for 6 years, with 1 year spent serving in Iraq. We can’t thank Dale enough for his service to our great country.
