About Us:
Attack Volleyball Club was started on the basis of providing quality training for competition, as well as assisting athletes in achieving their volleyball goals. Attack focuses on the personal and athletic development of our student-athletes, and creates a safe, positive, and effective learning environment. We are in our 3rd season as Attack and plan to continue growing in the years to come!
We are committed to providing athletes with a competitive experience that enhances social development, contributes to the teaching of fundamental values including responsibility, teamwork, self-discipline and self-motivation. Attack will give your daughter the opportunity to learn fundamental volleyball skills, gain knowledge about team play, and commitment to an intense program. Practices will be held weekly at a facility near you, and Saturday tournaments will be provided.
Practices:
2 per week, (Wednesday and Friday) at a location near you, as well as Saturday Clinics (additional fees apply) (Subject to change based on facility availability)
Tournaments:
Saturday or Sunday tournaments. It is our goal to play in at least 1 tournament/scrimmage per month (depends on athlete and tournament availability)
Club Cost :
(Club Special) $ 425.00, January - June, includes the following: practice and tournament instruction, gym rental, tournament entry, administration costs, whistle and lanyard, 1 t-shirt, 1 jersey, warm-ups to include a club sweat shirt and sweat pants, as well as 6 tournaments. Other club options available upon request; please talk with the Club Director for special arrangements).
Note, this does not include the $15.00 AAU registration fee for each athlete. This amount must be paid directly to AAU with each girl registering themselves online. All athletes must provide a copy of their birth certificate, medical form and AAU Card prior to the first practice and/or clinic. A link will be available on the Attack Web Site to register for AAU.

THE AMOUNT OF $250.00 MUST BE PAID BY DECEMBER 17, 2011 to place the order for each athletes clothing. Remainder of payment is due no later than January 21, 2012. Please contact the Club Director if other payment arrangements are necessary.

IT IS OUR GOAL FOR EVERY GIRL TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPTE IN THIS PROGRAM. WE WILL NOT KEEP AN ATHLETE FROM PLAYING BASED ON FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SO PLEASE TALK WITH THE CLUB DIRECTOR FOR FUND RAISER INFORMATION.

Tryout Cost:
$25.00 (non-refundable) Can be used toward club costs and a receipt will be given on the day of tryouts. Make checks payable to Attack Volleyball Club. (If there is difficulty with this fee, please contact the Club Director to make arrangements).
Tryouts:
Winter Session Saturday November 5th, 2011 & Saturday November 12th, 2011
Will be held at Lansing Christian High School, 3405 Belle Chase Way, Lansing, MI
Saturday November 5th will be for the following age groups:
- 10u – 14u: Registration/Parent Meeting at 11:30am in the school commons area with practice to follow from 12pm-2pm
- 15u – 18u: Registration/Parent Meeting at 2:30pm in the school commons area with practice to follow from 3:00pm-5:00pm
Saturday November 12th will be for the following age groups:
- 10u-14u: Registration/Parent Meeting in the school commons at 1:30pm with practice to follow from 2:00pm-4:00pm
- 15u-18u: Registration/Parent Meeting in the school commons at 4:30pm with practice to follow from 4:30pm-6:30pm
Athletes should plan on attending both sessions and final teams will be selected and posted on the Attack Web Site. If an athlete is not available for one or both sessions, please contact the Club Director to make arrangements for Club information.

- 10u – born on or after 9/1/2001
- 11u – born on or after 9/1/2000

- 13u – born on or after 9/1/1998
- 14u – born on or after 9/1/1997
- 15u – born on or after 9/1/1996
- 16u – born on or after 9/1/1995
- 17u – born on or after 9/1/1994
- 18u – born on or after 9/1/1993
We have created a new Web Site which will have all Club information including practice and tournament schedules. More information for our Web Site will be included at the parent meeting, as well as a list of potential tournament dates for the Club season.
